Terms & Conditions
Any person who engages with this website are confirming their acceptance of the website Terms and Conditions and any policies therein.
1. Payment: All orders placed are required to be paid for using one of the offered payment methods. We do not accept cash or cheques for any orders. If you are unable to make payment for any reason please contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist you.
2. Order & Delivery: All The Vinyl Crate in-stock item ordered will be dispatched within 48 hours (with exception when we are on vacation. This will be communicated on the front page of the website). We send everything Tracked-48 via Royal Mail for UK deliveries and we use brand new Music Max LP mailers for most of our vinyl. We sometimes source from Amazon USA and may use their mailers. Delivery times provided are estimated, but during busy periods these timeframes may be longer, any such delays are out of our control but we will endeavour to work with our customers to ensure safe receipt of their order. Any pre-order will be dispatched on receipt to us, and you shall receive updates on your order by email. International orders are taken on an individual basis and a price for shipping will be discussed prior to placing the order. We reserve the right to cancel any order.
3. Pre-order price promise: When placing a pre-order, and upon receipt of payment, the price is guaranteed. There are NO cancellations after payment is received from the customer. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Please be aware that pre-order items can be delayed, volumes can be reduced without notice and unfortunately on some occasions can even be cancelled. If this happens, the customer will be contacted and refunded. We will endeavour to keep the customer up-to-date with any communications received from the labels and suppliers.
4. Preloved: Preloved items will contain wear and tear, and although we check every item thoroughly, please bear this in mind when you place an order. We will always rate each item based on the condition and price it accordingly. Should you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.CD cases are NOT graded. These may contain shelf wear, scratches, small cracks or missing teeth. We will change the case if its in very bad condition though, but this is entirely up to us.
5. Damaged on Delivery: Should your order arrive damaged, please contact us immediately to discuss a resolution.It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they check their order on receipt. Any claims for damage must be submitted within 48 working hours of receipt. Any damage reported after this timeframe will not be considered.
We DO NOT accept responsibility for seam splits both internal and external once it has left our store. We inspect every album upon arrival to us and when its about to be shipped to a customer. We will always state the condition and any flaws (if any) in the listing.
We DO NOT accept responsibility for warped discs. Unfortunately, this can happen in rare circumstances particularly on mass produced vinyl. The majority of our albums are sealed and come the USA.
6. Unfulfilled Orders: In the unlikely event that The Vinyl Crate is unable to fulfil your order for any reason, you will be contacted immediately with an explanation. These may include but are not limited to: Manufacturers, distributors, courier disruptions, transportation damage and pandemics. When a refund is initiated, the full value of the order will be refunded to the original payment method. Where a third party is involved (for example, ApplePay) this process can take up to 30 days to complete, as ApplePay are only data processors.
7. Privacy: Any personal information received from a customer will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling your order. The Vinyl Crate is committed to processing your personal data in accordance with Data Protection Legislation and the latest General Data Protection Regulation. Any such data is encrypted and stored securely. Should you agree to subscribe to our marketing you will receive communications from our store, these can be updated or opted out of at any time. 8. Complaints: Should you have any reason to complain please contact us at your earliest opportunity. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible customer service, any feedback received is taken seriously and we will endeavour to implement any necessary changes to ensure the longevity of our service to you.
